This blog is about my work at a local humane society.  The title of this blog came from a quote from a show on NBC called Animal Practice, "Not all dogs go to Heaven. Some just go in the ground."  I talk about the significance of this quote on one of my first blog posts (http://goo.gl/Fi1BK ).  Most of this blog is me writing out the moral questions that arise in my head on any given day.  Working in a humane society often leads my coworkers and I to question not only the way people treat animals, but also the way we treat each other, how we view life, and how we choose to live out our lives.
